ANOTHER PUBLICATION FROM THE WALL STREET JOURNAL ABOUT REFORMS IN UZBEKISTAN
The reforms in our country, including in public and political life and foreign policy are widely covered by foreign media. A leading American newspaper The Wall Street Journal recently published a series of materials about Uzbekistan.
The latest article explains that our country is actively developing cooperation and good-neighborly relations with neighboring states.
The publication provides the text of the speech of the head of state, voiced during the September session of the UN General Assembly in New York, where he noted that the country is ready to make reasonable compromises with the countries of Central Asia on all questions without exception.
“Given the key role played in the region of Uzbekistan with a population of over 30 million people, such activities may encourage all Central Asian countries. This would also mitigate inter-ethnic tensions, crimes of the extremist direction, which in the past took place,” The Wall Street Journal writes.
In another article, the most popular newspaper in the U.S. has paid attention to positive tendencies in the field of human rights and liberalization of monetary policy.
