MainSportSportWorld Championship: 8 out of 10 Uzbekistan Boxers to Miss Preliminary Bouts
Uzbekistan national team takes part in World Boxing Championships 2017, which kicks off today in Hamburg, Germany. The championship gets involved 280 best boxers qualified at the continental competitions.
As a result of the draw, 8 out of 10 Uzbekistan boxers will miss preliminary bouts.Only Jasurbek Latipov (up to 52 kg) and Sanjar Tursunov (up to 91 kg) will take part in the preliminaries. Today Sanjar Tursunov is the first of our boxers to fight against Jeffrey Gonzalez from Nicaragua. Jasurbek Latipov will have his fight tomorrow. His first opponent at the World Cup will be the boxer from Paraguay.
Our other boxers Hasanboy Dusmatov (weight category 49 kg) Murodjon Ahmadaliyev (56 kg), Elnur Abduraimov (60 kg), Ikboljon Kholdarov (64 kg), Shahram Giyasov (69 kg), Isroil Madrimov (up to 75 kg) Bektemir Melikuziyev (81 kg) and Bahodir Jalolov (91 kg) start in 1/16.
